The 2004 season was a memorable one for the Pave the Wave Crew.
The early season inshore fishing was phenomenal, with one of
the best striped bass seasons we have seen in awhile. Starting
in June our
offshore season started and right off the bat we were into some
great action with a 300lb Thresher to our credit and an uncountable
amount of blue sharks by mid- June. Tuna season started off
a little slow size
wise with many small fish around, but were they plentiful, and
a blast on light tackle. July we started to see the bigger tuna
we were looking for and they stood around until our last offshore
trip of the year which
was early Nov. In fact our last trip of the year put, 6 yellowfins,
5 Long fin albacore, 1 swordfish, and 1 bluefin in the box,
also releasing 7 other bluefins. I hope the 2005 season will
start off on the same note
it ended in 2004......Sea you on the Sea's...Capt. Joe
